Wildling Books' Aroha's Choice

Everyone experiences off days when happiness seems elusive, and positive thoughts are hard to find. These days serve a purpose, as they help us appreciate the good times. However, when such days persist or are filled with negative thoughts, it's time to create new mental pathways that lead to better feelings. This book explores how our thoughts influence our emotions and lives, teaching children aged eight and up, as well as adults, about the power of thought. Inspired by my son's tendency towards pessimism, I wrote this book to show that he, and everyone, can change thoughts and create a happier life. My own journey involved replacing harmful pathways with positive ones, a challenging but life-changing process. Our brains, like supercomputers, help us navigate the world. In this story, Aroha learns to create brain pathways leading to different outcomes based on her thoughts. The more we practice noticing and cultivating positive thoughts, the stronger these pathways become, leading to a happier life.
